Students will have the opportunity to learn how to shoot a common semi-automatic rifle with a handheld light as well as a light mounted to your rifle. This course will engage the participant to encounter your threat in a low light situation, and account for every round deployed downrange. Light, low light and minimum light evolutions will be presented to the students. Different shooting positions and efficient moments will be demonstrated for students to emulate during the session.

Course Format:
Classroom lecture and range qualification

• Apply safe gun handling with speed under low light conditions
• Details on the workings of a semi-automatic rifle
• Low light and no light shooting conditions and considerations
• Safely load and reload the pistol under low light condition
• Flashlight considerations
• Use of Optics and Iron Sights

Who Should Attend:
This is a beginner course that is designed to give shooters of all levels to build on their foundation of using a semi-automatic rifle shooting under low light conditions.

Upon successful completion of the course, examination, and qualification, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Artemis Arms LLC.

REQUIRED BY ALL PARTICIPANTS

Common modern semi-automatic sporting rifle with a mounted light

Handheld flashlight

Three (3) or more magazines

Magazine pouches at least for two (2) magazines

Sling

Minimum of one hundred fifty (150) rounds of ammunition for their semi-automatic rifle, purchased in advance

On-Time attendance and participation in all parts

Personal protection equipment

Students must wear proper clothing for a live fire exercise, which includes shirt with sleeves, pants or shorts that can have a belt attached, sturdy belt, flat shoes, boots, or sneakers that totally enclose the foot. Optional items: Jacket or baseball cap. Attire that is not allowed: sleeveless or low neck cut shirts that expose the chest or shoulder areas (no sleeveless), shirts that expose the central torso area (stomach), open toe: shoes, sneakers, or sandals/flip flops
