ARTEMIS SHOOTER DEVELOPMENT SERIES: RIFLE ACCURACY SESSION
PARTICIPANT AGE: 18+
|CLASS LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE
This session, the next evolution in the Shooter Development Series, focuses on accuracy development. This will extend the overall effective range of the participant. The goal is consistent effective hits at the twenty-five (25) yard line on all different size targets.
Course Format:
Classroom lecture and range qualification.
Key Topics Covered:
• Appropriate stances
• Using a rifle with a sling attached
• Shooting a rifle with speed
• Quickly placing the shot on target with speed
• Trigger control speed with the highest hit percentages possible
• Demonstrating reloading, stoppage clearing, multiple shooting positions with speed
Who Should Attend:
This course is an intermediate level class. Students must have completed a basic rifle course from a credible training company (such as Artemis Shooting Sports and Training Academy), or a private lesson from Artemis Instructors prior to participation in this class. The student needs to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working with a sling.
Upon successful completion of the course, examination, and qualification, participants will receive the confidence to excel in:
• Safe rifle handling with speed
• Safely firing a rifle with speed
• Placing the shot on target with speed

VALID NYS pistol permit
New york state compliant semi-automatic rifle, ar stule preferred with rifle sling
A Minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition
three (3) or more MagazineS with at least tow (2) magazine holders
Long pants, sturdy belt, closed toe shoes
two hundred (200) rounds of ammunition for your semi-automatic rifle. No steel case OR steel core ammunition is allowed. (Ammo is available for purchase day of class)
Students must wear proper clothing for a live fire exercise, which includes shirt with sleeves, pants or shorts that can have a belt attached, sturdy belt, flat shoes, boots, or sneakers that totally enclose the foot. Optional items: Jacket or baseball cap. Attire that is not allowed: sleeveless or low neck cut shirts that expose the chest or shoulder areas (no sleeveless), shirts that expose the central torso area (stomach), open toe: shoes, sneakers, or sandals/flip flops.
