This beginner-level course teaches students how to safely handle, load, fire, and clear common semi-automatic rifles. Participants will learn essential skills including accurate shooting and proper rifle zeroing. The course covers reloading techniques, clearing stoppages, and various shooting positions. By the course's end, students will have acquired fundamental skills to proficiently handle a common semi-automatic sporting rifle.

Course Format:
This is an eight (8) hour course that takes place over two (2) days.

Who Should Attend:
This introductory course is designed to provide both new and experienced shooters with a solid foundation for using a semi-automatic rifle. Students who do not adhere to our safety requirements will be dismissed from training.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
• Apply safe gun handling
• Have a basic understanding of common semi-automatic rifles and how they work
• Be able to utilize the advantages of a red dot optic
• Safely and efficiently load and reload the rifle
• Zero their own rifle with standard iron sights or optics
