ARTEMIS SHOOTER DEVELOPMENT SERIES: RIFLE 2 CLASS

CLASS LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE+

 

This intermediate level course teaches students the next level on how to safely handle, load, fire, and clear common semi-automatic rifles. Participants will demonstrate skills including accurate shooting and proper rifle zeroing. The instructor will take it to the next level demonstrating on how to do the basics with speed and accuracy and watch the students emulate the drills and skills shown.  The course covers reloading techniques, clearing stoppages, and various shooting positions. By the course's end, students will have acquired fundamental skills at an intermediate level to proficiently handle a common semi-automatic sporting rifle.

Course Format:
Classroom lecture and range qualification.

Key Topics Covered:
• Apply safe gun handling with speed
• Details on the workings of a semi-automatic rifle
• Be able to utilize a red dot optic with speed
• Safely load and reload the rifle with speed
• Zero their own rifle with standard iron sights or optics
• Skill to shoot with speed and accuracy

Who Should Attend:
This is an intermediate course that is designed to give the experienced shooters new levels on their foundation to shoot with speed and skills with a semi-automatic rifle.

Upon successful completion of this course, examination, and qualification, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Minimum of three hundred (300) rounds of ammunition for their sporting rifle, purchased in advancE

PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT

proper clothing for a live fire exercise, which includes shirt with sleeves, pants or shorts that can have a belt attached, sturdy belt, flat shoes, boots, or sneakers that totally enclose the foot
