Gino Vieira
Friday 4PM-7PM, Saturday/Sunday 10AM-7PM
Gino Vieira is the Training Manager here at Artemis. He served in the United States Marine Corps Infantry for twelve years. During combat deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan, Gino led Marines in counter insurgency operations, helped detain known enemy combatants, assisted in discovering improvised explosive devices and aided in repelling enemy attacks in direct fire engagements. He is a military qualified expert in the M-16/M-4 family of military style rifles.
Gino has developed combat marksmanship skills of Marines and NATO coalition forces at home and abroad. Gino's trademark articulateness and patience allows his students to successfully understand marksmanship methods and techniques.
Gino is an NRA certified Range Safety Officer and a NRA certified Instructor in Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun use, as well as In-Home and Outside-the-Home Personal Protection. He is also certified by Sig Sauer as a Master Pistol and Master Rifle Instructor.
Gino currently serves as a Westchester County Deputy Sheriff.
Steve Libutti
Saturday 10AM-5PM, Sunday 10AM-3PM
Instructor Steve Libutti has been involved in shooting sports for over forty-five (45) years.
Steve is a Surgeon and Westchester County Deputy Sheriff who served in the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service for fifteen (15) years.
From 2007-2010 he was detailed to the United States Army and stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. While at WRAMC, Steve cared for service members serving in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, receiving both a Commendation medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service medal for his efforts.
Steve is a certified Sig Sauer Semi-Automatic Pistol Instructor and Sig Sauer Advanced Pistol Instructor with over one-hundred (100) hours of training time at the Sig Sauer Academy in Epping, New Hampshire. He has successfully completed advanced courses in pistol marksmanship, personal defense, concealed carry, rifle operator and shooting on the move, as well as shotgun training.
Steve is also a NRA certified Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer.
Steve is a Certified Sig Sauer Armorer for the P320, P365 and Classic Line pistols.
Steve’s approach to teaching is to keep things simple. Each student learns differently, so Steve individualizes his teaching program to the needs of each student, emphasizing fundamentals and safety. He has both a love for the sport and the learning process.
Elizabeth Gesualdo
Thursday 4PM-8PM
Born and raised in the Bronx, retired Sergeant Elizabeth Gesualdo is a twenty-five (25) year veteran of the New York City Police Department. During her tenure while on patrol, she started doing presentations on Domestic Violence to members of the community, which lead her to becoming a recruit and civilian instructor at the New York City Police Academy. Besides her duties as an instructor, she became the curriculum coordinator for the Behavioral Science Department. After promotion to Sergeant, she was eventually assigned to the Deputy Commissioner of Community Affairs Office, where she was a curriculum coordinator for the main unit, and then eventually for the Youth Services Section, where she had dual duty as the curriculum coordinator and training sergeant.
Transferred back to the Police Academy, Sergeant Gesualdo headed the Instructor Development Unit, where all members of the New York City Police Department who want to become trainers must attend the eleven (11) day N.Y.S. D.C.J.S. Methods of Instruction Course. Elizabeth's last stop on her journey was the Firearms and Tactics Section, where she held the positions of curriculum coordinator, training sergeant, and administrative sergeant. Sergeant Gesualdo holds the N.Y.S. D.C.J.S. titles in General Topics, Mental Health and Firearms Instructor. She is also a National Rifle Association Instructor in Pistol, Rifle and Refuse to be a Victim and a Range Safety Officer as well as a N.Y.S. D.C.J.S. Armed Guard Instructor and Utah Pistol Permit Instructor.
By day in her retired life from the N.Y.P.D., Elizabeth works for the family bakery and at night, she is a Range Safety Officer and Instructor at Artemis. She loves sports, music and good conversation with friends over a great meal.

YOUNG SHOOTERS
Under the age of 18 must have a notarized waiver if they are bot accompanied by their parent or legal guardian
age 12+ with their parent or legal guardian are eligible for lessons with a rifle or shotgun
Age 14 - 20 are eligible to take lessons with a pistol in addition to a rifle and shotgun
